Yes, Because Humans Believe in Miracles
I sometimes post things that make people squirm because they don’t understand. I get that, and can truly empathize. I’m a squirmmer too. This post may be one of ‘those kind’ of messages … so go ahead and get your squirm on. I guarantee that you won’t be alone.
Last year I heard a whisper from God. We have routine communications but most people have a difficult time with my saying that so I call it ‘whispers’. During this whisper, God was asking me to create a book called ‘God’s Miracles’.
This book, he said, was to be written by people from all around the world sharing their stories of how their life was spared, their marriage was spared, or their child’s life, etc, because of a miracle. I also saw faces shooting quickly past my mind’s eye. I could see and feel that while they were sharing their stories, they would feel internal healing while telling it to me or writing it down. I let these thoughts, images, and the entire conversation quite frankly, go out of my mind for a while without taking any action. That’s normal for me unfortunately. I need time to process what I saw or heard.
Several months later, at 4 am, I heard it again. This time I obeyed.
After stories began to pour in from around the world, I found myself wishing the book had a different title. I knew, from a marketing standpoint, that the title would turn a lot of people off and so selling the idea to a publisher would be interesting at best. Its the marketing education in me that produces thoughts like this and, although I’m sure God understands, I sometimes wonder if he gets a little weary of my egotistical debates.
Even so, one sunny afternoon I took a walk in my neighborhood and decided to ask him if the book had to be titled “God’s Miracles”?
God whispered this response, ‘Yes, because humans believe in miracles’.
It took four simple words for God to stop me in my tracks. ‘Humans believe in miracles’ revealed something I hadn’t understood until that moment.
God’s love is translated to us through actions that we understand. The action of miracles. Miracles, in and of themselves, are really just the breath of life. One could actually think they are not really miracles at all if we understood that they happen in every single moment of every day. Miracles are simply God’s love being revealed to us in more obvious ways to get people to believe.
I’m paraphrasing here, but I recall reading about a time where Jesus said, ‘You believe because you ‘see’… meaning his life and the miracles he performed. He continued by saying its those who believe without seeing any miracles at all that are truly blessed.
I no longer look for a miracle to happen in my life. I understand that I AM a living breathing miracle that is a conduit of other miracles, and so are you and everything around you. If you need concrete evidence I totally get it. This is why “God’s Miracles” was written. The stories in it will help you see God’s powerful love revealed over and over again. It will help you keep your heart open — even when you don’t always understand.
The book is coming out soon….so get ready….its powerful.
And if you want to contribute to future Miracle books, just go here to submit your a story of a miracle that happened to you. We only take stories written in the first person, so it can’t be about what happened to someone else. You CAN, however, encourage them to share their own story by sharing this link—> http://connecting101.org/miracles/
Share this page as often as you can so God can continue to ‘go viral’, and leave a comment below. I read every message I get and often respond.
Sending lots of love!
