The Hidden Energy Behind The Holidays
Do you ever find yourself wondering about all the craziness going on around the holidays? Perhaps not feeling the love? As a Christian who is also a Healer, I have gained a lot of useful insight about energy over the years. The bottom line is that is God is always in charge. People can’t “make” us do things – if we choose to remain completely conscious to the choices we make each and every day… When it comes down to it, there is always a choice – we have the choice to accept the circumstance, and we also have the choice to do something about it. It is when we feel the “separateness” from God that we tend to cower down in victim-mode. The best choice we can make for ourselves at all times is to love ourselves – the way God loves us. Let’s think about the energy of the collective consciousness around the Holidays…
Think about Black Friday – it is all based on limited quantities and fills the world with the energy of LACK. What do feelings of lack do to people? Make them agitated, aggressive, and sometimes even downright mean! If we are not already feeling that way to begin with, what does being in this energy do to us? Instantaneously put us in a bad mood right? Then you come home taking it out on your family saying things to them such as “I can’t believe she had the nerve to take that dress out of my hands” or “that idiot cut me off in traffic” etc. etc. etc. Then the next thing you know your entire family is in a bad mood right? We all go through times like that! Where’s the love in all of that?
Those feelings drop to the wayside when we remember to have complete faith in God and realize that each experience comes our way in order for us to grow to our highest ability. I take great comfort in Philippians 4:19 which states – “And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.” (New Living Translation) If we didn’t come home with the items that we desperately “wanted” perhaps it is because it truly was not “needed” in God’s eyes.
Let’s take a quick look at energy… We each have surrounding us what is called a luminous energy field. This field is not seen but can be felt by those with sensitive energetic fields. For example – close your eyes and have someone stand behind you and put their hand out getting closer and closer to you. Quieten your mind and FEEL the energy and tell them when you feel a gentle pressure on your back. You will be surprised to find that their hand will most probably be 6 inches to well over a foot away, depending on how sensitive you are!
As you can see in the diagram, when you interact with somebody it can quickly become an energetic entanglement – for better – or for worse! So how can you protect yourself from taking on someone else’s negative energy? Well… You don’t have to be as obvious as the “talk to the hand” gesture above! If you are talking to someone who is particularly negative, envision an energetic waterfall between the two of you where their words and actions are cleansed back to God’s perfection before they hit you.
Another thing I do when I first wake up is envision God’s golden energy fully enveloping my body infinitely up and infinitely down. Then I envision a column of mirrors around that with the mirror finish facing outward deflecting any and all negativity. Let me tell you, when I accidentally forget to do this quick and easy process I usually get an energetic slap in the face reminding me to do so!
Lastly, continue to surround yourself with positive influences. That is what I love so much about the Day of Love – you can’t ask for a better energetic fit to remain positive!
I recently watched an amazing video – “The Gospel According To Tupperware” by Louie Giglio where he had a series of transparent tupperware boxes and on the smallest was written “God”, then “Christ” on the medium box, and then finally “You” on the largest box. Then he placed each box in the other, and at all times you could see that God and Christ are always within you!
Philippians 2:13-16 states – “That energy is God’s energy, an energy deep within you, God himself willing and working at what will give him the most pleasure. Do everything readily and cheerfully – no bickering, no second-guessing allowed! Go out into the world uncorrupted, a breath of fresh air in this squalid and polluted society. Provide people with a glimpse of good living and of the living God. Carry the light-giving Message into the night so I’ll have good cause to be proud of you on the day that Christ returns. You’ll be living proof that I didn’t go to all this work for nothing”. (The Message Bible Online)
I think one of the greatest gifts that I can give myself and others during the holidays is to remember that transparency and to see myself letting God and Christ’s love shine through each and every day!

Knowing first-hand how easy it is to fall into victim mentality, Gaill’s strength lies in helping others to understand that there are truly no victims in life. She awakens them to what she calls the “God Instances” in life that they thought were merely insignificant coincidences.
